Hydrogen/Ammonia Project

3100,000 TPA Green Hydrogen and 800,000 TPA Green Ammonia Plant

Sun Brilliance is developing a 3100,000 TPA Green Hydrogen and 800,000 TPA Green Ammonia plant at Karratha, Western Australia with an estimated project cost of A$10.65 Billion.

The Project will be developed and implemented in following 3 Phases:

  • Phase 1: 77,500 TPA Green Hydrogen and 400,000 TPA Green Ammonia Plants
  • Phase 2: 77,500 TPA Green Hydrogen and 400,000 TPA Green Ammonia Plants
  • Phase 3: 155,000 TPA Green Hydrogen Plant

Hydrogen and Ammonia plants will use the power to be generated from the Solar and Wind farms.

Sun Brilliance will export hydrogen and ammonia gases mainly to Japan and South Korea.

Project Sites

Sun Brilliance has selected Maitland Industrial Area (Phase 1 & Phase 2) and Burrup Peninsula (Phase 3) to set up Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia plants.

Project Implementation Schedule

The Project will be implemented from 2021 to 2028
